Global Warming Handbook
A rebuttal manual for when someone tries to convince you of our G_d-like powers to control the Earth's climate. I've never understood why we haven't taken credit for all the ice age periods in the past, or been blamed for the extinction of the dinosaurs?

Belated Birthday Wish
Happy Birthday Jim! I assumed you were hunting yesterday, so I didn't try to call. Hope I wasn't wrong.
let's all drive 55 in his honor!

BHO showing his core values
You know, it was during the third debate that a question was asked about the Supreme Court, or justices - can't remember which. McCain answered with comments about strict constructionists, adhering to the constitution, etc. BHO talked about fairness and empathy toward the lower classes, etc. - nothing about the constitution at all. You'd thing that a constitutional law professor/instructor would understand how the three branches of our government worked. But now it has come to light why he said what he said - he doesn't like the way our government works, and thinks the Constitution is a barrier to his idea of government growth. See Betsy Newmark's comments and links, or go directly to the Chosen one's words. This was recorded in 2001 - not that long ago - and discovered by a citizen, not our 'in the tank' press!

Thoughts
This one has no link, just a few observations from me.
Kicked the 4 pointer off the lawn on the way to work yesterday. He looks bigger than I thought up close.
It is nice to see the polls looking a little tighter lately. I remember when Clinton won in '92 how bad I felt about the future, even though he was a 'new democrat'. If McCain can't pull this out I will be absolutely sick about the future of: taxes, the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, federalism, capitalism, the Supreme Court, climate change based laws, and a Constitutional Convention. Watching Pelosi, Reid, and BHO having a mutual orgasm with Chris Dodd and Barney Frank will put me off my meds for good. Maybe I'll be lucky and Texas will vote to secede.

The comprehensive argument against Barack Obama
A very complete article using the 'One's' own words and deeds...
"Is that what that is, the presidential race?"

Where Things Stand
This is an interesting way to look at the status of polls today and how just a little movement toward McCain at the end of this cycle can have a dramatic effect on how things end up.

Obama's persistent dishonesty on health care reform
With this as a the truth - why doesn't McCain point it all out??

How To Save the Government $5 Million
How To Save the Government $5 Million: "A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year, until he is 80 years old.
Assuming the next president lives to age 80. Sen. McCain would receive ZERO pension as he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president. Sen. Obama would be retired for 26 years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension.
Therefore it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November.
How's that for non partisan thinking?"

McCain Letter Demanded 2006 Action on Fannie and Freddie - HUMAN EVENTS
So, why do so many Americans think the Dems would do a better job with the economy. Are there THAT many people addicted to government handouts?

Obama and the Second Amendment
This is a good read that covers some of BHO's lost years, you know - the years that don't fit with his latest biography.

Social Engineering always Fails
More evidence why the Dems need to be removed from control. Just because we want people to feel good about themselves, doesn't mean it should be a federal government policy.
McCain & Keating, Obama & Ayers
It's been 20 years since the 'Keating 5' were in the news, and I have never really paid attention. These details were very helpful in learning the truth about the situation at the time.

Nightly Wildlife Report
I was doing some computer work in the guest room tonight, when I walked out to the house, there were 8 deer on the front lawn, between the driveway and the house. The nice buck from the other night, too.
Biden's Factual errors
Now, as a 'trained' salesperson, you learn how to speak with authority about things you know very little about. You can easily assume 90% of your audience knows less than you do, and the rest will not want to stop and challenge you. It seems Joe Biden stretches that percentage to the limit. I was going to try to link to a lot of the information, but Betsy does a great job of compiling the information.

Skills Everyone Should Know
Something a little bit different today. 100 skills every guy (and gal) should know how to do to feel competent. I haven't gone through them all yet - let me know which one's you think are the absolute best, or hardest to master! I'll tell you what I think over the weekend.
Stay happy - we sent our termination letter to Belgium yesterday. Time to turn another page in my life.
But first, I'm going hunting with Jim in NY this year, bought a warm pair of boots last weekend, the rest I can get by with mostly what I have, I hope. Lots of deer on the lawn eating up my corn lately. All does, except one little fork horn, not the one Jim saw last month. No racks like at the lake, next year I need a feed plot!

Our 'friend', Barney Frank
Here is the root of our financial services problem, and the wolf is being put in charge of the henhouse by the chief hen (Pelosi)
