Next step in the war?

Is this the justification we need to move the next step of the war into Syria? And clean up the Sudan at the same time? My worry is that we should do this, but that we are out of troops. You kno that we would also hear from the left that we are being distracted from getting Bin Laden. When will they get it that UBL is just one part of the war? He was an early 'touch stone', but a long way from the permanent personification of those who want to kill us all. On the same note - I feel for all the 9/11 families - but, don't the widows that keep getting trotted out to ask why we don't concentrate first on getting UBL before we do anything else ever step back to see the big picture? This war is much more comprehensive, as it needs to be, than just being myopic about one of the enemy's divisions.
