Where is the candidate?

USATODAY.com:
Since USA Today is keeping such a tight rein on how much time W is spending on the road - do you think they will mention Kerry's nearly 2 year absenteeism?

"Back on not-so-familiar turf: President Bush is at the White House today, the first time since Aug. 2 that he hasn't been out of Washington for at least part of the day.

In those 44 days, he visited 21 states. Most of the travel was to the dozen or so closely contested states: six trips to Ohio, five to Pennsylvania, four each to Iowa, Florida, Michigan and West Virginia and twice to Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada and Wisconsin. He also has stayed at his Texas ranch three times and visited his parents' home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Bush's travel days have been in double digits every month since February. Since Memorial Day, there have been only 10 days when he hasn't ventured out. Posted at 6:45 a.m. ET."
